Batik And Baker is an Oakland-based microbakery and pastry pop-up serving Malaysian and Asian-inspired sweets and snacks.

In craving for comfort and curiosity, Batik And Baker’s menu is a celebration of classic treats and an invitation to try something new and unexpected. All treats are small batch, scratchmade and seasonal.

Pick up a treat at a Saturday pop-up in various locations in the Bay Area or contact us for menu for your next celebration or event.

A whole 6-inch cake is perfect for 6-10 people. Some cakes may depend on availability of seasonal ingredients. Please place orders at least 1 week ahead.

Inspired by mignardises and kuihs — bite-size colorful snacks usually found in Southeast Asia — I love tiny treats that satisfies in just two bites. On my menu includes cookies, snacks and a selection of Malaysian kuihs.

monthly bake box

Each month, I bake a limited run of Batik And Baker bake boxes featuring 4-5 treats. Bake boxes are available for pre-order only. The menu and pre-order link will be posted on Instagram and sent to my mailing list, sign-up here. Orders close at 11:59 pm on Tuesdays the week of pickup. Pickup is Saturdays at pop-up locations in Oakland, Berkeley or San Francisco.
